A delightful little scene in which the working class boy grasps that there is a different world of culture, music - and art beyond the small town world of this town, his family - but the downside is trying to proniunce those 'foreign' names - theaestheticof...
I also remember trying to learn how to say famous painters' names when I was his age - and composers. (Now it is directors! I still can't pronounce most of them - but this time round I have no desire to impress anyone!)
As an aspiring 'cineaste' (!) I distinctly remember my Bo Widerberg phase a few years ago - and remember really loving this film. Expect more clips, I'm afraid
